We keep hearing how AI is going to revolutionize how we collect and analyze data. It will supposedly take away jobs from those humans who are experts at such tasks.
But not so fast.
In this video, I demonstrate how I asked AI to form conclusions based on some basic data. And it couldn’t.
A human with advanced knowledge and experience, such as your truly, still does a better job of using inductive reasoning to draw conclusions from data sets.
I explore the topic of higher education here, specifically small colleges, and identify the underlying story that helps us understand the numbers more clearly.
And one college in particular has some numbers that should be big red flags for anyone who cares about students and the education they are paying for.
