Much of the data reported on high school and college students’ opinions is to be taken with a grain of salt. Young people simply don’t know enough about what they want from their education, or about life in general, to be taken too seriously.

But when students are surveyed about something they have already done, then maybe we have something valuable. In this video, I share some recent information about why students recently chose to apply to certain schools.

And surprise…

It goes against what we often hear, most often from the schools themselves who are constantly trying to accommodate these new students. This tiny glimmer of hope may prove that the foundation of what college is supposed to be—a place of academic quality—still exists. At least for now.
